USA June 2014 - Part One - San Diego

I decided to travel to the United States in June for one simple reason - I wanted to attend Alt Summit in Salt Lake City. I managed to get in touch with a three Scrapbook stores in the United States to teach classes at, and I ended up spending 20 days there, travelling to FOUR different states within those 20 days. I had a blast. Me in the US? Starbuck. Chipotle. Donuts. Lemonade. That's what I LOVE there :)

My first stop was in San Diego. I went there a few years ago and didn't get to visit much of the city. This time, I rented a car and drove around and guess what? I loved it!

I got to visit Balboa Park, which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! You can definitely spend the whole day there, walking around, have lunch there, visit the museums, the botanic garden and the amazing houses there.  I loved it there. Sierra and I had a fantastic afternoon there.

I got to meet the amazing Stephanie Bryan, we had lunch together in La Jolla and OMG! She's a sweetie, and La Jolla was GORGEOUS! Imagine the ocean, palm trees, amazing lunch with a talented scrapbook artist - such a perfect day. My only disappointment was that I was dreaming to eat a donut from the Donut Bar in San Diego and they were SOLD OUT when we got there! My heart was broken. Me, the French lady, who was dreaming of eathing the BEST donut in town, went away with a tear in her eye.

Another place I LOVED was Coronado Beach. After I taught at The Paper Tales, the girls drove me there.  We first stopped by The Cravory, the cookie store just next to The Paper Tales and oh my. I almost fainted. The cookie I had was just DELICIOUS and my only regret was not to buy a second one!

I also tried out my very first Fish Taco, which was super good and spicy. YUM.

San Diego was super fun, and probably the best was the amazing classes I taught over at The Paper Tales. They know how to welcome their teachers and treat their customers like princesses. I had so much fun and I would like to thank MICHELLE, the owner, for inviting me to teach there.

San Diego, you were good to me. I'm looking forward to seeing you again.
